Over the past few years, I’ve photographed my sisters creations starting all the way back to the early 80’s with our first shoot at the gun fortifications on the south end of the Golden Gate Bridge. It was still in the hands of the military then, and I’m kind of hazy on how we actually pulled that off.
This reminds that it would be nice to have those old slides scanned for my archives. Those early shots, taken before my 35 year photographic hiatus, contained the seeds for this shoot—mainly Tatyana’s angular poses that were common back in the eighties. Interestingly, Tatyana just flowed right into those poses, where as I directed the model from the first shoot into the angular poses that we coming into vogue.
